Revlon is a public holding company with no business operations of its own. In July 2008, the Company consummated the disposition of its non-core Bozzano business, a leading men's hair care and shaving line of products, and certain other non-core brands, including Juvena and Aquamarine, which were sold by the Company only in the Brazilian market (the "Bozzano Sale Transaction"). The transaction was effected through the sale of the Company's indirect Brazilian subsidiary, Ceil Comercio E Distribuidora Ltda.
